Kyle J. Gilrain MS, LCSW has extensive
professional education, training, and experience successfully treating a variety of mental health disorders. Kyle’s career has led to many rewarding
opportunities through progressively responsible positions in the health care field; ranging from front line
and direct care to senior management. Kyle earned his bachelor’s degree in social work, with a minor in psychology, from Southern Vermont College (Bennington, VT). He subsequently earned his master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work (New York, NY). In addition, he has also completed doctoral level coursework in Organizational Systems at Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center (San Francisco, CA). His professional education is punctuated by professional experience that ranges the full continuum of care. Kyle Gilrain has considerable experience that has taken him to a range of clinical positions in various types of facilities working with some of the most challenging and vulnerable individuals. These settings include: secured prisons (adult and juvenile), secured and non-secured residential treatment facilities (juvenile), secured psychiatric inpatient units (child and adult), partial and outpatient hospital settings (adult and juvenile), skilled continuum of care geriatric facilities, and private practice (all populations). Since 1996 he has also held clinical licensure in New
Jersey, Vermont*, Virginia, and Florida
He has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and has served a term as Vice President of the Vermont chapter.
Kyle has also been a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of
Sexual Abusers. Kyle has
